In August 2023, Conveyor Units proudly marked its 60th anniversary—a significant milestone in our history that provides a moment to reflect on all we’ve accomplished over the decades.
With over 200,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and a dedicated team of more than 150 employees, Conveyor Units has grown to become the largest conveyor manufacturer in the U.K. We now produce over 2 million rollers and 40 kilometers of conveyor annually. Our products are designed, engineered, and manufactured to the highest standards, meeting the BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard. By operating our own Injection Moulding Plant, Bearing Assembly Plant, Roller Manufacturing Shop, Laser Cutting and Folding Department, Fabrication Department, Powder Coating Plant, and large Conveyor Assembly Warehouse, we ensure that our high-quality range of conveyor products remains competitively priced.
Despite these achievements, our ambitions remain as strong today as they were in 1963. We continue to pursue sustainable growth and expansion while developing and extending our renowned conveyor range. Delivering versatile, effective, and reliable conveyor solutions that meet the exacting demands of a fast-paced materials handling industry has always been key to our success. Equally important is our commitment to building and maintaining close, sustainable relationships with our trading partners.
Our 60th year has been an excitingly busy one—not only in terms of product development but also in the reconfiguration and expansion of our manufacturing plant to improve material flow.
